Main licensing with an impressive result

Stallions showed very high quality

The licensing year of 2014 presented themselves on a spectacular high level during the three day event in the crowded auction hall. 69 stallions were presented, 42 got licensed, and 14 of them got awarded with “premium”.

This years Winning stallion in dressage was the Vitalis-Ampere (NLD) –son, bred by Reesink horses GmbH in Borken. Together with Andreas Helgstrand, Eugene Reesink was also the exhibitor of the impressively moving brown stallion. In the future he will stand at stud at Helgstrand in Denmark. Breeding director Wilken Treu had only one title for the winning stallion: Luxury! His conformation, physique, expression, as well as his movements deserved this title.

The NRW state stud Warendorf will be the home of the first Reserve dressage winning stallion in the future. The Zack-Don Schufro son, who was nicknamed "Zoom", was also impressed by his complexity. He was exhibited by the Danish stud Blue Hors.

The 2nd reserve dressage stallion bred and exhibited by Frank Dahlhoff, Lippetal, will be located at the state stud Celle. He was the only stallion who was in the final ring and got sold over the auction. He sold for € 260,000.

The show jumping collection was especially impressive this year. One could nearly feel the enthusiasm and special concentration of the spectators during the show jumping in the crowded arena. Praise for the stallions, exhibitors and the team in the arena came from all sides. A son of Kannan-Verdi-Cornet Obolensky from the Hanoverian breeder of Werner Schultze, Langlingen,was the undisputed winning stallion. The striking, powerful stallion with the international pedigree was auctioned for 620.000 €. The syndication Klosterhof Medingen, Bad Bevensen, and the stud farm Fohlenhof in Haßloch bought the the dark brown exceptional horse, which is to be available at their studs.

A special feature this year was the fact that the number of the final rings was expanded spontaneously to four stallions. In addition, three stallions were awarded the title of "Reserve Champion". The equally high quality of the jumping talents made this novelty necessary. It is a Cristallo II-Lancer II son owned by Gut Neuenhof, Nideggen. He was sold to Moritzburg for 90,000 €. Furthermore, a Dantos HBC / Veron son with the name Deville (breeder: J. Veurink, NL-Loozen, A .: Mathieu Beckmann, Wettringen). He will stand at the state stud Warendorf in the near future. The third stallion with this title comes from the Ukrainian stud Zhashkov and was sold to his new owner for 105,000 €. He will stand at the Ligges stud in the future.

The sales of the 31 licensed stallions of the auction amounted to € 2,717,000 with an average price of € 87,645. 252,000 € were paid for the eleven non licensed stallions, with an average of 22.909 €.
