Mare performance tests at a glance
The mare performance tests are offered for all mares in the population.
They are intended to provide breeders with opportunities for objective evaluation and to create comparability with other mares. The mare performance test is not a prerequisite for registration in the studbook. However, the test must be passed in order for a warmblood mare to be awarded the title of State Premium Mare.
The tests take place at the Westphalian Horse Centre and at selected other locations. On the combined dates, the mares can be presented on the triangle before passing the performance test for entry into the studbook.

If you are not yet a member at the time of the mare performance test, membership of the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch is compulsory on the day of the test.
Mares of the riding horse, riding pony and Haflinger populations can be registered for the mare performance test via WestfalenOnline, by telephone or by e-mail.
