Westphalia's event year
Welcome to the events organised by the Westphalian Studbook. Throughout the year, we offer you a wide range of exciting events on the topics of horse breeding, marketing and sport!
Both the event hall and the large outdoor area of the Westphalian Horse Centre in Münster-Handorf offer ideal conditions for presenting the full diversity of our shared passion - horses.
And that's why there's always something going on here: from a selection of late entries to stallion shows, external events, a free jumping final and several OnLive auctions through to numerous breed-specific breeding events such as the Haflinger Days, Icelandic Days, Small Horse Days and Cold Blood Days. One of our highlights is the traditional six-day Westphalia Week in the summer months, where sport, breeding and auctions come together. We have also had the honour of hosting the German Amateur Championships at our showgrounds on several occasions and welcoming the best amateur riders. At the end of the year, the licensing of riding horses, riding ponies and small horses brings the breeding year to a glamorous close.
Whether you are a passionate breeder, rider or simply a horse lover, we cordially invite you to take part in our events and explore the fascinating world of Westphalian horses with us.
We look forward to your visit!
