Westfalenwoche 2024

From 30 July to 4 August 2024, our atmospheric outdoor arena in Münster-Handorf once again hosted dressage and show jumping competitions up to advanced level, elite shows for riding horses and pony mares, as well as dressage and show jumping foals.

Tuesday once again put amateur equestrian sport in the spotlight as the "Sparkasse Day of the Amateurs". Another sporting highlight was the final of the Agravis Technik BvL+Saltenbrock Amateur Cup 2024, for which the best 60 riders from the twelve qualifiers had recommended themselves.

There were also qualifications for highly talented young Westphalian horses for the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. The best Westphalian young talents were honoured in Münster-Handorf with the title Westphalian Champion 2024. Another breeding highlight of the six-day event was the elite shows for three and four-year-old mares, who made their grand entrance here.

On Friday and Saturday, the showground then became an auction floor. It all started on Friday with top-class show jumping foals, which were auctioned off by auctioneer Thomas Münch. The auction of high-quality dressage foals, which found their new owners here, took place on Saturday.
