Westphalian Week 2026
From 28 July to 2 August 2026, our atmospheric outdoor arena in Münster-Handorf will once again be hosting dressage and show jumping competitions up to advanced level, elite shows for riding horse and pony mares, as well as dressage and show jumping foals.
Qualifications for highly talented young Westphalian horses for the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf will take place again this year. The best Westphalian young talents will be honoured in Münster-Handorf with the title Westphalian Champion 2025. Another breeding highlight of the six-day event will be the elite shows for three and four-year-old mares, who will make their grand entrance here.
On Friday and Saturday, the showground will then become an auction floor. The event will kick off on Friday with top-class show jumping foals, which will be auctioned off by auctioneer Thomas Münch. On Saturday, the auction of high-quality dressage foals will take place, which will hopefully find their new owners here.
We are looking forward to six great days with numerous wonderful Westphalian moments in breeding and sport!
HORSE24 Amateur Tour
Die HORSE24 Amateur Tour ist eine westfälische Turnierserie für Amateur-Springreiter und wird in Springpferdeprüfungen der Klasse A – überwiegend A* (90 cm) und A** (100 cm) – ausgetragen. Über mehrere Qualifikationsturniere können sich Reiter-Pferd-Paare für das Finale qualifizieren. Ziel der Serie ist es, Amateurreitern den Einstieg in den Springpferdesport zu erleichtern und zugleich eine zentrale Plattform für die Ausbildung und Förderung junger Springpferde zu schaffen.
Qualifikationen und Finale
Grundsätzlich qualifizieren sich die fünf bestplatzierten Reiter-Pferd-Paare jeder Qualifikationsprüfung für das Finale im Rahmen der Westfalenwoche. Bei gleicher Platzierung können sich gegebenenfalls auch weitere Teilnehmer qualifizieren. Hat sich ein Reiter-Pferd-Paar bereits über eine andere Qualifikationsprüfung für das Finale qualifiziert, rückt das nächstplatzierte Paar der jeweiligen Prüfung nach.
