Information on leasing
We recommend that a written contract be drawn up between the lessor and the lessee. In particular, this should cover the following points:
▶    Housing and care conditions 
▶    Costs & payment terms 
▶    Care in the event of illness 
▶    Duration and termination of the lease 
▶    Provisions in the event of the death of a contracting party or the animal
A clearly defined contract provides transparency and security for both parties.
The Westphalian Horse Stud Book points out that all contact and agreements are to be made exclusively between the lessor and the lessee. It therefore accepts no liability whatsoever.
