No success without strong dam lines
With the aim of breeding reliable, high-quality horses with outstanding performance, the founders of Westphalian breeding and of the Westphalian Studbook placed great importance on dam lines from the very beginning. Without strong, successful dam lines, many of Westphalia's triumphs in equestrian sport and breeding would not have been possible.
The willingness to perform at the highest level, the ability and the toughness deeply rooted in these mare families remain the essence of Westphalian breeding to this day.
Together they form the foundation for the breeding of Westphalian top performers and reliable partners in leisure sport.
