For more than 100 years, the Westphalian Studbook has stood for a vibrant breeding community that brings people together and has a lasting influence on horse breeding in Westphalia and around the world. We support breeders with a wide range of services, personal assistance and a strong network. Whether you are an experienced breeder or new to breeding, horse lovers will find the right community with us to pursue their passion and actively help shape the future of Westphalian horse breeding.

Becoming a member is easy – you can even apply online!
Simply apply for your membership online.
As well as applying online, you can also send us your application the traditional way, in writing (application form). Young breeders aged 8 to 25, and anyone who would like to become one, can take out a junior membership with attractive benefits (junior application form).
Presenting a horse at one of the association’s events also counts as an application for membership. This does not apply to presenting a stallion at the pre-selection.
