Handorf is a popular showground for young and old alike

The tournament programme in Münster-Handorf has always been expanded, especially in recent years. In addition to the annual Westphalia Week and tournaments organised by the Handorf-Sudmühle riding club, the equestrian centre has become a popular venue for outdoor tournaments, especially in spring.

The establishment of late entries in Handorf came about during the coronavirus era. The aim was to offer riders an environment in which they could compete despite the difficult social conditions. For this reason, numerous competitions have been held from March to May during the week and at weekends on the beautiful and spacious grounds in Handorf - under optimal conditions. As the tournament grounds were very well received, the programme expanded.

New tournament formats were also created for the younger riders - the WBO day and "Champs of tomorrow".

Without competing with the local clubs in and around Münster, the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch has been offering these new opportunities in the field of show jumping ever since. Whether you are a professional, a committed young rider or a WBO novice - everyone is welcome and will find one or two suitable competitions to get a taste of Handorf competition.
