62,000 euros for premium stallion by Double Cream
Westphalian stallion sale for riding ponies

Münster: Following the successful riding horse stallion sale, 22 riding pony stallions were up for sale this afternoon. The premium stallion by Double Cream/Cyriac WE danced to the top price of 62,000 Euros. The international clientele invested an average of 16,969 euros in the 16 riding pony stallions sold.

Just a few days after the Westphalian Stallion Licensing and the Stallion Sale for Riding Horses, the ponys were in the spotlight at the Westphalian Studbook. For the third time, the main licensing for riding ponies and small horses was followed by a stallion sale for licensed and unlicensed riding pony stallions. 22 riding pony stallions were for sale here. Three quarters of the auction candidates on offer found a new owner that afternoon.

Six recently named premium stallions from the riding pony licensing opened this OnLive auction. A son of Double Cream/Cyriac WE (breeder: Bernd Sabel, Herzlake; Rothenberger Ventures GmbH, Bad Homburg) kicked things off with head number 11. The beautiful stallion with the auction name Duke Caboom impressed the licensing committee at all his performances this weekend. His dam line also leaves no desires open. He is a half-brother of Cosmo Callidus NRW, who won the individual gold medal at the 2017 European Pony Championships under the saddle of Lilly Marie Collin. The audience at the Westphalian Studbook also recognised the young stallion's talent. He changed hands for the top price of 62,000 euros. The typey bucksin will move into his stable at the Moritzburg State Stud.

Two further premium stallions cracked the 30,000 euro mark. The stallion station of Danica Duen secured the premium stallion with the head number 14. The son of FS Next Diamond NRW/FS Champion de Luxe (breeder: Valentina Haese, Kitzingen; exhibitor: Rothenberger Ventures GmbH, Bad Homburg) impressed with type charisma and outstanding movement quality. At the hammer price of 32,000 euros, auctioneer Thomas Münch put the hammer down.

Don de Luxe is the auction name of the riding pony stallion with the head number 12, who was also celebrated as a premium stallion in the Westphalian Auction Hall shortly beforehand. The dam line of the Dreidimensional I AT NRW/FS Champion de Luxe son (breeder: Reinhold van der Sande, Bocholt; exhibitor: Adolf-Theo Schurf, Bedbug) has already produced numerous licensed and successful sport stallions. Regular customers from the USA had a lucky hand. They have been visiting Germany since the riding horse licensing and have already secured several auction candidates there. They also fought live on site today to win the bid on this bay horse, which they purchased for 30,000 euros.

A total of 16 riding pony stallions changed hands this afternoon at an average price of 16,969 euros. Five young stallions will begin their careers abroad. In total, the Westphalian Studbook realised a turnover of 271,500 Euros with this auction of riding pony stallions.
