Münster: This year's Westphalian Autumn Auction featured riding horses, riding ponies, unridden youngster and broodmares for sale. Of the 63 auction candidates on offer, 50 found new owners today. The For Romance daughter For Hope achieved the highest price. She will move into her new home in Aubenhausen for €355,000.

The Westphalian Autumn Auction shone with an outstanding selection of high-quality riding horses and ponies. Westphalian champions, the Bundeschampion, licensed stallions and highly successful sport horses were up for sale at this auction. The auction collection was complemented by five broodmares and six unridden, dressage-oriented youngsters from the 2023 vintage.

A truly exceptional horse was presented with head number 4. The State premium mare For Hope (breeder and exhibitor: ZG Wierling, Senden) impressed customers from near and far throughout the entire trial period. A few months ago, the four-year-old daughter of For Romance impressed the expert jury in Westphalia and completed her mare performance test with a final score of 8.48. The judges awarded the beautiful mare a score of 9.5 for her trot and canter. Her dam, St.Pr.St. Fiadora by Fürst Wilhelm, also completed her mare performance test with an excellent final score of 8.41 and was reserve champion at the 2020 Elite Show. The Werndl family has high hopes for the future of this mare with her powerful movements. She will be based in Aubenhausen in future, having been sold for a top price of 355,000 euros.

Two horses were crowned Westphalian Champion of four-year-old riding horses in 2025. Both were offered for sale at this riding horse auction. With head number 1, the Vaderland/For Romance daughter Valera (breeder and exhibitor: FK Sporthorses, Westerkappeln) entered the auction ring in Münster-Handorf. In addition to the title of Westphalian Champion, the four-year-old also holds the title of Champion Mare at the 2025 Westphalian Elite Show. Today, customers bid 165,000 euros online for this outstanding young talent for advanced dressage sport. The second Westphalian Champion of the four-year-old riding horses wore head number 3. Like the other two top horses, Symphonie P was also sold from first hand and was personally exhibited by her breeder Josef Pottbäcker, Kerken. The daughter of Sir Heinrich/Jazz Rubin also holds the title of state premium mare. She placed fourth in the final at this year's Bundeschampionat. Already victorious in young horse dressage tests, this beautiful mare was worth 140,000 euros to her new owners.
Of the dressage-oriented riding horses and ponies on offer, a total of 30 changed hands at an average price of 51,533 euros.

Among the show jumping horses, head number 6 Corellanti (breeder: Hartwig Rellensmann, Extertal; exhibitor: Marc Idelmann, Wetschen) stood out in particular. The son of the exceptional stallion Cornet Obolensky out of Cadena R by Carell has already achieved high placings in show jumping competitions up to medium level. Just a few weeks ago, he shone with outstanding rounds at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. On the phone, two show jumping riders engaged in a persistent bidding duel. With the 53rd bid, auctioneer Thomas Münch brought the hammer down at a hammer price of 175,000 euros.

The four-year-old Diamant Rolex de Rock Z (breeder: Exelmans – Laevers, Belgium; exhibitor: Hendrik Zurich, Schüttorf) was also very popular among the customers. The son of Dominator Z/Oskar V descents from the damline of Elco Van Hof Ter Naillen, who was successful in 1.60 m show jumping competitions. The still juvenile show jumping acrobat achieved a hammer price of 68,000 euros. The 12 show jumpers sold achieved an average price of 43,833 euros.

The lot was completed by broodmares and youngsters, eight of which found new owners.
