The horses should meet the following criteria: 3-6 years, 1.64 m tall, good health, solid build, calm character, gelding or mare. The police equestrian squad asks in advance for videos and, if necessary, X-ray images of the registered horses to be sent via the Westphalian Horse Stud Book. Depending on the quality of the horse, up to €20,000 is paid.
