The horses should fullfil the following criteria:
- Age: 3-6 years
- already solidly started under the saddle
- Size: from 1.64 m height (definetely required!)
- Characteristics: good health, solid build, calm character
- Sex: gelding or mare.
The police rider squad requests that videos and, if available, X-ray images of the registered horses will be sent in advance to the Westphalian Studbook by e-mail or WhatsApp.
Depending on the quality of the horse, up to 20,000 euros will be paid. The Westphalian Studbook will impose a commission fee of 5 %.
The horses must be shown in riding by their home rider on the selection date at the Westphalian Studbook. The police will then carry out a test ride.
