Westphalian Championships for eventing horses 2025 in Hamm-Rhynern

On Thursday, June 19, 2025, the new Westphalian Champions for 4- to 6-year-old eventing horses were crowned as part of the traditional dressage and cross-country tournament organized by the Rhynern Riding Club. Under excellent conditions and in athletically demanding competitions, both riders and horses impressed with outstanding performances.

In the class for 4-year-old eventing horses, Crispin D by Cornet Obolensky out of a Scalo xx dam claimed the title. The talented young horse, bred by the Dahlkamp breeding partnership, fully convinced the judges under the saddle of Dr. Marc Dahlkamp.

In the 5-year-old class, Biscaya D, by Balous Bellini out of a Castellini dam—also bred by the Dahlkamp partnership and presented by Dr. Marc Dahlkamp—secured the win with a commanding performance.

In the 6-year-old eventing horses category, C’est Ça, by Conthargos out of a Windhauch mare, took the championship title. The Westphalian mare, bred by Holger Ronne, was presented by Josephine Schnaufer-Völkel.

The event in Hamm-Rhynern once again provided an excellent platform for the promising young eventing horses from Westphalia—with exciting competitions, dedicated trainers, and exceptionally well-prepared horses.
