Westphalian free jumping talents in Handorf

Every year, after several qualifiers in and around Westphalia, the final of the Westphalian free jumping competitions takes place on the grounds of the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V. in Münster-Handorf. On this day, the best of the qualifiers will meet in the grand final. The winners in the two categories "Horse" and "Pony" will be determined by an expert jury.

All riding horses and ponies with a score of 8.0 or 7.5 or better qualify for the final. (An overview of the qualification dates in the individual districts can be found in "Riders and Horses" or in the download area below).

The final takes place exclusively for three-year-olds.

Conditions of participation:

All riding horses with a final score of 8.0 qualify for the final. Of the qualified horses, only three-year-old Westphalian registered riding horses are eligible.

All riding ponies with a final score of 7.5 are qualified for the final. Of the qualified ponies, only three-year-old Westphalian registered riding ponies are eligible.

Two scores are awarded in the final. The final score is the average of the separate scores for jumping manner and jumping ability.
