Big stage for the little ones
Every year, the Westphalian Horse Centre becomes a stage for our youngest horses for one summer weekend. At the Handorf Small Horse Day, representatives of the small horse breeds come together in Handorf to present and inspect their mares and foals.
The programme includes mare book recordings, elite shows for three and four-year-old small horse mares and the Westphalian foal championships for the Shetland, German Partbred Shetland, Welsh, Connemara and Fjord breeds.
In 2026, the Handorf Small Horse Day will take place on 18 July.
