The sport test for five-year-old stallions took place for the last time this week in Münster-Handorf. 16 jumping stallions and 18 dressage stallions completed the performance test and thus a component for the final registration in the Stallion Book I.
In future, only the short predisposition test will take place in the fall for three-year-old stallions and at the beginning of the year for four-year-old stallions in the form of a two-day test. In future, the sport tests will be compensated by show tests.
The Westphalian-approved stallion Zino van Ekholt by Zinedream/Casall (breeder: Katja Claußen-Brühe) convincingly won the sport test for five-year-old jumping stallions with a score of 8.96. The winning stallion of the 2022 Westphalian main licensing, Con Touch RS by Conthargos/Casall (breeder: Hans-Juergen Heitmann), received scores in the “good” range across the board and completed his test with an 8.14.
In the competition for dressage stallions, the stallion Sir Gribaldi by Secret/All Inclusive (breeder: ZG Aronis & Janßen), also approved for Westphalia, won with the highest score of the day, 9.01. The first reserve winner of the 2022 Westphalian main licensing and now Lower Saxony state stud stallion Valparaiso by Viva Gold/Fidermark (breeder: Rebekka Aicher Koch) completed the performance test with a score of 8.06.
