It's foaling season from spring to summer - here in Münster-Handorf too! Every Monday, the virtual hammer falls and the youngest offspring find their new owners. During our Westfalenwoche as well as at our auctions in spring and autumn, and at the show foal auctions, interested parties have the opportunity to view the foals directly on site and bid for them live.

Oktoberfest Meets Foal Magic – the last but one chance to secure a 2026 Foal! On October, 3, Münster-Handorf will be the place to be! As the perfect prelude to the riding horse auction on the following day, the youngest Westphalians will once again take centre stage on this special evening. Combined with a Westphalian Oktoberfest, it promises to be a truly festive evening.
Around 30 carefully selected foals from the 2026 vintage will make their grand appearance of the final of the 2026 auction season. Whether expressive dressage talents, athletic show jumping prospects or charming riding pony foals, this lot combines quality, type and excellent prospects for both sport and breeding.
A special evening with a special atmosphere: Oktoberfest in Münster-Handorf, a foal auction and one final opportunity to secure a rising star from the 2026 crop. An evening you definitely won’t want to miss!
Foal selection for the spring auction
Regular online foal auctions are held during the summer months. The selection dates take place at regular intervals at the Westphalian Horse Centre in Münster Handorf. A video of the foal is also produced as part of the selection process.

We sell your foal via the Westphalian auction site! The requirements: You are an active member of the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V. and have a high quality foal that fulfils the requirements for one of our auctions.

2. registration for the selection date takes place online via WestfalenOnline. Your contact person for further information is Lisa Schalück.
3. the foals will be inspected, filmed and photographed during the selection date. They will then be admitted to the auction. At the selection date, a movement and paving video of the future auction foals will be created at the same time. Our young breeders are on site at every selection appointment and are happy to show your foal. Mares and foals should be tethered and in good condition. Please bring the foal report with you directly to this appointment, as the foals will be chipped on site.
