Recognising potential at an early stage
It's foaling season from spring to summer - here in Münster-Handorf too! Every Monday, the virtual hammer falls and the youngest offspring find their new owners. During our Westfalenwoche as well as at our auctions in spring and autumn, and at the show foal auctions, interested parties have the opportunity to view the foals directly on site and bid for them live.
Foal selection for the spring auction
Regular online foal auctions are held during the summer months. The selection dates take place at regular intervals at the Westphalian Horse Centre in Münster Handorf. A video of the foal is also produced as part of the selection process.

We sell your foal via the Westphalian auction site! The requirements: You are an active member of the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V. and have a high quality foal that fulfils the requirements for one of our auctions.

2. registration for the selection date takes place online via WestfalenOnline. Your contact person for further information is Lisa Schalück.
3. the foals will be inspected, filmed and photographed during the selection date. They will then be admitted to the auction. At the selection date, a movement and paving video of the future auction foals will be created at the same time. Our young breeders are on site at every selection appointment and are happy to show your foal. Mares and foals should be tethered and in good condition. Please bring the foal report with you directly to this appointment, as the foals will be chipped on site.
