Warendorfer Landbeschäler sets the top price at  18.500 euros

Münster: 28 young dressage stars born in 2024 were for sale in the 82nd Westphalian online auction. At an average price of 7,631 euros, 21 of these changed hands. The Westphalian Horse Stud Book thus generated a total turnover of 160,250 euros. Once again, a descendant of the Warendorf state stud stallion Diamanten Glanz aroused particular desire. With a hammer price of 18,500 euros, Dembe trotted to the top price.  

In today's online auction of the Westphalian Horse Stud Book, 25 riding horse and three riding pony foals were for sale. This evening, a son of the Warendorf state stud stallion Diamanten Glanz once again aroused particular desire. The young stallion is producing his second crop of foals this season and is currently victorious in L-level dressage horse tests. Dembe wore head number 14 in the auction. The bay horse was bred and exhibited by Martin Rüter, Datteln. Last year he mated his Fidertanz daughter Katalania with the Diamond First son from Warendorf. At the top price of the evening it found a new owner for 18,500 euros. The most expensive filly this evening was once again a daughter of the popular sire Viva Gold. With the head number 4, Very Magic danced its way into the hearts of customers. Tanja Senger, Dortmund, had her Verb.Pr.St. Danciana v. Danciano was paired with the stallion, who is now successful in the advanced class. The strong-moving filly found a new owner today at the hammer price of 16,500 euros.

Two of the three riding pony foals on offer were sold for an average price of 5,750 euros. The most expensive young hope in the pony sector was number 12 Götterfunke W (breeder: ZG Weischer, Emsdetten; exhibitor: Finn Weischer, Emsdetten). The beautiful son of Golden Gray NRW was able to qualify for the German Foal Championships in Lienen this year. His mother is St.Pr.St. Vicky CR v. Voyager, which was victorious in dressage tests at L level.

At an overall average price of 7,631 euros, 21 of the offers from the 2024 vintage found a new owner. Three of the young hopefuls sold cracked the 10,000 euro mark that evening. Seven foals will start their careers outside of Germany.
